I overcame my addictions by prioritizing my physical and mental well-being. During a difficult period in my life, I made a conscious effort to better myself every day, whether it be physically, spiritually, or mentally. Self-improvement became my guiding principle. I devoted time to reading books, practicing prayer and affirmations, and visualizing a successful future. Eventually, all of my dreams came true; however, the journey is ongoing. I liken it to climbing a mountain – I have gone from rock bottom to reaching the treetops however my journey is the top of the mountain. As I continue my educational pursuits, I also create uplifting content for platforms like YouTube and social media to inspire others and share the valuable insights I have gained.
In 2017, I decided to invest in crypto assets and equities despite having a low-paying job as a carpenter and numerous expenses. Starting with just small amounts of money, around $100 here and there, I have managed to multiply my investments into a few years' worth of salary. Along the way, I have diligently paid all my taxes and also treated myself to some luxuries like cars and vacations.
However, my success did not come solely from luck. I have spent countless hours researching markets and understanding the technology behind them. It's been a learning process akin to navigating ocean waves while surfing. By comprehending the dynamics of the markets, investing has become an easier task.
Today, I employ more advanced metrics to carefully select assets for my portfolio allocation. As I continue learning, I utilize my weekly chats to share what I have discovered with others. But please know that my intention in sharing this is not out of pride but rather pure humbleness because my journey has taught me some hard lessons along the way.
